Who Is Still Alive From 'Diff'rent Strokes'?
Todd Bridges is now the last remaining original member of the "Diff'rent Strokes" ensemble, following the death of actress Charlotte Rae. If you don't recall, Spoiler Alert! Rae played Edna Garrett, the housekeeper for the Drummond family, who adopted the sons of his African-American maid when she died on the NBC sitcom. Mrs Garrett took a new job as a housemother at Eastland School for Girls, the boarding school attended by Kimberly Drummond, midway through the second season of "Diff'rent Strokes," and her character was spun off into "The Facts of Life." Todd Bridges
Todd Bridges was born on May 27, 1965, in New York City. He portrayed Arnold's older brother Willis and had several run-ins with the law before being charged with murder and convicted in 1988. He, like his TV siblings, struggled with substance abuse. In his book Killing Willis, he recounted his ups and downs as well as his recovery. Bridges is the only original member of the Diff'rent Strokes who is still alive today. Todd Bridges paid a sweet tribute to his late costar, Dana Plato, on Twitter.

'Diff'rent Strokes'
Diff'rent Strokes is an American sitcom starring Gary Coleman and Todd Bridges that was produced by Jeff Harris and Bernie Kukoff. From November 3, 1978, until May 4, 1985, the series ran on NBC, then from September 27, 1985, to March 7, 1986, it aired on ABC. The series concerns two African-American boys from Harlem who are adopted by Phillip Drummond (Conrad Bain), a wealthy white Park Avenue businessman and widower, and his daughter Kimberly, for whom their late mother previously worked. The show aired on NBC from November 3, 1978, to May 4, 1985, and on ABC from September 27, 1985, to March 7, 1986. It also had a lot of spin-offs and crossovers like The Facts of Life, where Charlotte Rae also starred as Mrs. Edna Garrett, as a housemother at the fictional Eastland School.
